Our goal is simple-

• We aim to provide a venue for men to meet up, talk and connect with others while participating in group, community or individual projects.

• We strive to provide opportunities for friendship and socialising in a safe, friendly environment while at the same time providing space, expertise and facilities for men to pursue hobbies, crafts and other creative activities.

• We undertake projects, acceptable to the group, which are of benefit to individuals, other groups and the broader community.

• We help members to maintain & improve their health & well-being as a result of participation alone, whilst hopefully making new friends & enjoying working on different projects.

As we’re currently an Unincorporated Association (Google it if you’re bored) we price items in the Shop as a “suggested donation”. 

This means that we just cover our costs to run the TMS. 

We don’t make a profit and any surplus is fed back into the community – for example we plan to help with the refurbishment of the Cossham Hall in Thornbury by giving a donation for a Fire Door.

Donations to the shop enable us to charge our members a single, small annual Membership fee with no ongoing subscription.             

All we ask is that the TMS members assist in the shop by serving or refurbishing/repairing donated items.
